My Story Begins in Mexico

In the enchanting state of Sonora. I grew up surrounded by the family-owned grocery store, which housed a bustling butcher shop within its walls. Working there, I learned many valuable skills, but it was the sharp, practical knives that truly captured my heart. They made my work easier and more enjoyable, especially when it came to my love for steak. I mean, who doesn't adore a perfectly sliced, juicy piece of steak? And having the right knife, one that effortlessly glides through the meat, made all the difference.

Throughout my journey, I encountered various knife brands, and some of my favorites were Buck and especially Benchmade. But then, everything changed when I came face to face with my first Damascus Steel knife. There was something undeniably unique and almost mystical about it, as if it held the secrets of an ancient legacy within its intricate patterns. From that moment, I knew this was something I wanted to share with the world.

Amidst the sea of knife companies out there, I envisioned creating something different. El Matador Knives was not to be just another corporate entity; instead, it would be a small business that cared deeply about nurturing growth and providing job opportunities to others.

Currently, we import our knives from Pakistan, sourcing only the finest blades to offer to our customers. But my ambition doesn't stop there.
