Spanish Navaja Forestal - Small

The Simón Small Forestry Pocket Knife is a compact and dependable outdoor folding knife, expertly developed and handcrafted in Madrid, Spain. Combining premium materials with traditional craftsmanship, this knife is designed for hunters, hikers, campers, and everyday carry enthusiasts who value reliability, comfort, and timeless design.

Its blade is manufactured from high-quality Böhler N695 stainless steel, featuring 1.05% carbon content for excellent edge retention and long-lasting cutting performance. With 16.70% chromium, the steel provides outstanding resistance to corrosion and wear, making it ideal for outdoor use and demanding conditions. The blade is hollow ground and hand sharpened using a ceramic water stone to deliver a precise, razor-sharp edge.

The handle is crafted from carefully selected olive root wood, known for its beautiful natural grain, durability, and warm feel in the hand. The polished scales are fitted with expansion joints designed to help prevent cracking as the wood naturally ages over time. An adjustable Allen-pin construction secured with screws instead of rivets provides additional strength, precision, and ease of maintenance.

For safety and confidence during use, the knife features a reliable traditional back lock mechanism, ensuring the blade remains securely locked while performing tougher cutting tasks. A brown Cordura lanyard is included for convenient carrying and enhanced grip security.

Every knife is individually assembled, ground, polished, and finished entirely by hand in Spain, reflecting the quality and attention to detail that characterize Simón craftsmanship.
